Paul O’Neill was one of the most passionate and hard-working players to ever wear the New York Yankees uniform. Known for his fiery spirit and never-give-up attitude, O’Neill became a fan favourite and a key part of the Yankees’ success in the 1990s.

He joined the Yankees in 1993 after a trade from the Cincinnati Reds and quickly became a leader on the field. Whether it was a clutch hit, a diving catch, or his intense focus during an at-bat, O’Neill gave everything he had every game.

O’Neill helped lead the Yankees to four World Series championships from 1996 to 2000. He was known for coming through in big moments, playing strong defence in right field, and always putting the team first.
