He played his entire 17-season NHL career with the Kings and was known for his hard work, team spirit, and leadership. Taylor played on the famous “Triple Crown Line” with Marcel Dionne and Charlie Simmer. Together, they were one of the best scoring lines in NHL history. Taylor was a strong forward who could score goals, make great passes, and help his team win. Off the ice, Taylor was a great leader and a role model for younger players. Fans admired him for his effort, loyalty, and the way he played every game with heart. In 1995, the Kings retired his number 18 jersey to honour everything he did for the team. Dave Taylor will always be remembered as a Kings legend and a symbol of pride and tradition.
