PHI FLYERS #7 Bill Barber
Bill Barber was a star forward for the Philadelphia Flyers who helped lead the team during the 1970s. He was a great goal scorer, a strong leader, and always worked hard on both offence and defence.
Barber played for the Flyers from 1972 to 1984 and became the first player in team history to score 50 goals in one season. He won the Calder Trophy as the NHL’s top rookie and helped the Flyers win games with his skill and teamwork.
To honour everything he did for the team, the Flyers retired his number 7 jersey. Bill Barber is remembered as one of the greatest players in Flyers history.
