KC CHIEFS #86 Buck Buchanan
Buck Buchanan, who wore number 86, was one of the best defensive linemen in Kansas City Chiefs history. He was known for his size, strength, and ability to stop plays before they could start.
Buchanan played for the Chiefs during the 1960s and 1970s and was a huge part of their success. He used his power and speed to break through blockers and pressure quarterbacks. Offences often had to use two players to block him, but even then, he still made big plays.
His biggest moment came in Super Bowl IV, when he helped the Chiefs beat the Minnesota Vikings. His strong play on defence helped the team win and showed why he was one of the top players of his time.
In 1990, Buchanan was added to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, honouring his amazing career. He will always be remembered as a Chiefs legend and one of the greatest defensive linemen in NFL history.
