Grant Fuhr was one of the greatest goalies in Edmonton Oilers history. Known for his quick reflexes and big saves, he helped lead the team to five Stanley Cup championships during the 1980s.

Fuhr was famous for staying calm under pressure and making acrobatic saves in the most important moments. In 1988, he won the Vezina Trophy as the best goalie in the NHL. His strong play gave his teammates confidence and made it tough for opponents to score.

In 2003, the Oilers retired his number 31 jersey to honour his amazing career and everything he did for the team. Grant Fuhr will always be remembered as a key part of the Oilers’ dynasty and one of the best goalies in NHL history.
