Austin Carr, known as “Mr. Cavalier,” was one of the first stars in Cleveland Cavaliers history. He was a strong scorer, a respected leader, and a fan favourite during his time with the team.
Carr was chosen as the first overall pick in the 1971 NBA Draft. He quickly made a name for himself with his smooth shooting and ability to score in bunches. In 1976, he helped lead the Cavaliers to their first-ever playoff appearance.
