ANA DUCKS #9 Paul Kariya - SQ

Paul Kariya was one of the most exciting players in Anaheim Ducks history. He was known for his incredible speed, passing, and goal-scoring ability, making him a fan favourite.

Kariya was the Ducks’ first-ever draft pick in 1993, and he quickly became one of the best players in the NHL. His amazing skills made him an All-Star many times, and his leadership helped shape the team. As captain, he worked hard and inspired his teammates to do the same.

One of his most famous moments came in the 2003 Stanley Cup Playoffs. In Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals, he scored a huge overtime goal against the Detroit Red Wings, helping the Ducks reach their first Stanley Cup Final.

To honour him, the Ducks retired his jersey number 9. Paul Kariya will always be remembered as one of the greatest players in team history and a true hockey legend.
