Mike Bossy was one of the best goal scorers in NHL history and a key part of the New York Islanders’ dynasty in the 1980s. Known for his quick shot and ability to score in big moments, Bossy helped lead the Islanders to four straight Stanley Cup championships from 1980 to 1983.

Bossy joined the team in 1977 and made an immediate impact. He won the Calder Trophy as the NHL’s top rookie and quickly became known for scoring goals with speed and precision. Over his career, he had many 50-goal seasons and was one of the most feared shooters in the league.
