Marcel Dionne was one of the best players in Los Angeles Kings history. He was known for his great scoring, fast skating, and smart play. Dionne played for the Kings during the 1970s and 1980s and became one of the top forwards in the NHL.
He was part of the famous "Triple Crown Line" with Charlie Simmer and Dave Taylor. Together, they were one of the best scoring lines in hockey. Dionne won two Art Ross Trophies for leading the league in points and earned many other awards during his career.
Dionne’s skill, speed, and hockey smarts made him hard to stop. He scored lots of goals, made great passes, and helped lead the Kings during some of their most exciting seasons.
In 1990, the Kings retired his number 16 jersey to honour everything he did for the team. Marcel Dionne will always be remembered as a Kings legend and one of the best players in NHL history.
