DET RED WINGS #7 Ted Lindsay

Ted Lindsay, known as "Terrible Ted," was one of the toughest and most respected players in Detroit Red Wings history. He played with skill, strength, and heart, making him one of the most feared players of his time.

Lindsay was a big part of the famous "Production Line" with Gordie Howe and Sid Abel in the 1950s. He helped lead the Red Wings to four Stanley Cup championships and became a fan favourite because of his scoring and fearless style of play.

Off the ice, Lindsay helped change the game. He fought for fair treatment for players and helped start the NHL Players’ Association. His work led to better pay, benefits, and working conditions for players in the future.

Ted Lindsay will always be remembered as a Red Wings legend, a champion, and a leader who stood up for what was right in hockey.
