CLE GAURDIANS #19 Bob Feller

Bob Feller is one of the greatest pitchers in Cleveland Guardians history. He was known for his amazing talent, strong work ethic, and love for his country. Fans admired him both on and off the field.

Feller started playing for the team in 1936 when he was only 17 years old. Right away, he showed how powerful his fastball was—some said it was the fastest they had ever seen. He quickly became one of the best pitchers in baseball.

During his career, Feller was chosen for eight All-Star Games. He won the pitching Triple Crown in 1940 and threw three no-hitters. His hard work and skill made him a role model for players everywhere.

Feller also showed great courage off the field. After the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, he joined the U.S. Navy to serve in World War II, even though it meant missing years of his baseball career. When he returned, he picked up right where he left off, proving just how special he was.
