Elvin Hayes was a powerful force on the basketball court and a true legend for the Washington (then Baltimore) Bullets. As a power forward and center, he was known for scoring points, grabbing rebounds, and blocking shots. Hayes was one of the most dominant players in the NBA during his time.

To honour all he did for the team, the Washington Wizards retired his number 11 jersey. Elvin Hayes will always be remembered as one of the greatest players in team history and a true basketball legend.
