TEN TITANS #27 Eddie George
Eddie George was one of the most powerful and respected running backs in Tennessee Titans history. Known for his tough running and strong leadership, he became one of the team’s most important players.
George was picked 14th overall in the 1996 NFL Draft and quickly became the center of the Titans’ offence. He was great at running through defenders, gaining hard yards, and protecting the quarterback during passing plays.
George was more than just a great player. He was a leader in the locker room and helped younger teammates learn and grow. His hard work and commitment earned him the respect of fans, coaches, and teammates.
One of the biggest moments of his career came in 1999, when he helped lead the Titans to Super Bowl XXXIV. Even though they didn’t win, George’s strong play and leadership during the playoffs made him a true team legend.
To honour everything he did, the Titans retired his jersey number 27. Eddie George will always be remembered as one of the greatest players in team history and a true football legend.
