TEN TITANS #1 Warren Moon

Warren Moon was a trailblazing quarterback and one of the greatest players in the history of the Tennessee Titans/Houston Oilers. Known for his strong arm, great accuracy, and leadership, Moon made a big impact on football.

Moon joined the Oilers in 1984 after playing in the Canadian Football League. He quickly became one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. His powerful throws and smart decisions made him hard for other teams to stop. He was chosen for many Pro Bowls and was known for his great passing.

Moon was also a strong leader. He helped younger players, worked hard, and always put the team first. His teammates and coaches respected him for his dedication and professionalism.

In 1990, Moon helped lead the Oilers to the AFC Championship Game—their best playoff run in years. Even though they didn’t make it to the Super Bowl, Moon’s strong leadership made him a franchise legend.

To honour his amazing career, the Titans/Oilers retired his jersey number 1. Warren Moon will always be remembered as one of the team’s greatest players and a true football legend.
