MIN VIKINGS #80 Cris Carter

Cris Carter was one of the best wide receivers in Minnesota Vikings history. He was known for his amazing hands, sharp route-running, and ability to make tough catches look easy.

Carter joined the Vikings in 1990 and quickly became the team’s top receiver. He was a favourite target for quarterback Warren Moon and helped the Vikings score touchdowns with his strong play and smart moves. Fans loved how he always seemed to come down with the ball—even in the hardest situations.

One of his greatest seasons was in 1998, when he helped lead one of the most powerful offences in NFL history. Even though the team didn’t win the Super Bowl, Carter's performance helped make that year one of the most exciting in Vikings history.

Off the field, Carter was a leader and gave back to the community through charity work. He used his voice and platform to help others and became a role model for many fans.

To honour his amazing career, the Vikings retired his number 80 jersey. Cris Carter will always be remembered as one of the greatest wide receivers ever to play for Minnesota.
