LAR RAMS #85 Jack Youngblood

Jack Youngblood was one of the toughest and most respected defensive players in Los Angeles/St. Louis Rams history. He was known for his strong pass-rushing, toughness, and leadership on the field.

Youngblood joined the Rams in 1971 as a first-round draft pick. He quickly became the heart of the Rams’ defence and stayed a key player for over a decade. He was great at getting to quarterbacks, stopping the run, and making big plays when his team needed him most. His hard work earned him many Pro Bowl selections and the respect of teammates, opponents, and fans.

One of his most famous moments came during the 1979 playoffs, when he played with a broken leg. His courage and toughness showed how much he cared about his team and made him a legend among Rams fans.

Off the field, Youngblood was known for his honesty, strong work ethic, and charity work. He gave back to the community and became a role model for many young fans.
