Bobby Layne, wearing number 22, was a legendary quarterback for the Detroit Lions in the 1950s. Known for his strong arm, toughness, and leadership, Layne helped lead the Lions to some of the most successful years in team history.

He was picked for the Pro Bowl six times and helped the Lions win three NFL championships in 1952, 1953, and 1957. Layne's strong leadership on and off the field earned him the respect of teammates and fans across the league.
