Pete Maravich, known as "Pistol Pete," was a basketball magician. His flashy skills and unique style thrilled fans and inspired future players. Though he played only a few seasons with the Atlanta Hawks, he made a lasting impact and remains a basketball legend.

Maravich joined the Hawks in 1970 as the 3rd overall pick in the NBA Draft. From his first game, he amazed crowds with his ball-handling, passing, and scoring. His creativity on the court made him one of the most exciting players of his time.

One of his best seasons came in 1972-73 when he averaged 31.1 points per game, leading the league in scoring. His dazzling plays and high-scoring games made him a fan favourite.

Off the court, Maravich was known for his passion and love for the game. He changed how basketball was played, inspiring players to be creative and push their limits.
